Khutsala Artisans was started by Heart for Africa to provide training and employment to local Swazi people. They employ 110 Swazi men and women, training them in jewelry making, bead craft, pottery, and woodworking.
Eswatini has a 70% unemployment rate.
Heart for Africa desires to provide HOPE and help the people to break the cycle of poverty and provide for their families. Founded in 2006, Heart for Africa is a faith based humanitarian organization that focuses on the areas of Hunger, Ophans, Poverty, and Education in former Swaziland.
They are developing a 2,500 acre large scale sustainable farm called Project Canaan in Eswatini. It is a permanent home for over 230 children that were left as orphans and vulnerable due to the AIDS pandemic.
